What's happening in Elmore
EPA Museum
The Elmore Progress Association (EPA) Museum is housed within 3 rooms of the former Railway Station buildings at Railway Square in the centre of town.
The collection is presented under three headings: the Agricultural Room features a locally manufactured wheat pickler, the Costume Room with clothing from the 1900s and the Museum Collection Room with an assortment of items.
Local visitors and residents will find within the EPA Museum a treasure trove of local history, publications and unique items, including sporting, kitchenware, military and former Elmore Hospital equipment, family history, maps of local areas and photocopies of the Elmore Standard from 1888-1960s.
The Museum is a wonderful space for all ages to explore. The rich offerings provide a thorough historical insight into the town and district and provide individuals with keenly sought family history information.
