Campaspe Run

Community owned and operated by a small band of helpful volunteers we are indeed very proud of our very own Heritage Centre.


We are open daily 9:30AM to 4:00PM seven days a week. Group bookings are very welcome and times can usually be arranged to suit your group’s travel arrangements. Please ring us for further information.

Colbinabbin Clay Target Club

Elmore Event Centre (enter via Strawhorn Road) Clay target shooting competition held at 12 noon on the 4th Sunday of the Month (except April 25 ANZAC Day), and the 2nd Sunday in December.

Elmore & District Doctor’s Residence

 The Elmore and District Doctor’s Residence Committee of Management maintains the Residence that is owned by the Elmore and District Community for a Doctor to live in the township. The Committee of Management meets quarterly (Feb/May/Aug/Nov) on a Wednesday Night at 7.00 pm at the Vic Hotel, Elmore. The date and time for the next meeting is set on the night of the quarterly meeting.

Elmore Community Hub

The Elmore Community Hub is a place for the community to connect, create and celebrate. A place for meetings, information sessions, workshops, classes and celebrations.

Elmore District Health Service Auxiliary

The Elmore District Health Service Auxiliary works to raise money to purchase equipment for the Elmore Medical Practice. The Elmore District Health Service Auxiliary meets two monthly on the 2nd Tuesday.

Elmore Events Centre

Home to both the Elmore Field Days, and the Elmore Equestrian Park, The Elmore Events centre is your local hub for events both small and large! 

The unique facility is ideal for hosting a diverse range of events including exhibitions, equestrian competitions, music and food festivals, vehicle rallies, markets, industry and trade expos, product launches and demonstrations, as well as club and/or community events.

Elmore Lions Club

The Elmore Lions Club is a community group that helps and supports the local community. The group is active through fundraising, providing long weekend coffee breaks and lots more.
The Elmore Lions Club meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Elmore Primary School

Opened March 23 1875, Elmore Primary is a small school, accessible by bus from most areas within 30 mins of the Elmore township. We provide a caring, professional and high quality educational experience for all students, supported by rich specialist program offerings (art, music and Indonesian) and a focussed program of excursions, incursions and extra-curricular activities.

Open 9:00am – 3:20pm every weekdays. Closed for public holidays, school holidays and curriculum days. Please contact us on 5432 6247 for a school tour.

Elmore Progress Association Inc. (EPA)

Elmore Progress Association Inc. (commonly known as “The EPA”)
The Elmore Progress Association was formed on the 26th May 1890 with the aim ‘To foster, protect and conserve the political, municipal and social privileges of the township and district.’ 
It has since been Incorporated in 1990 & continues to represent the Elmore & District community whilst focusing on fostering, promoting and encouraging community wellbeing for the benefit of Elmore and District, representing the plans and ideas of the community and nurturing these plans and ideas to assist in bringing them to fruition.
A priority of the EPA is to continue to keep the Elmore & District Community connected & informed via the printing of a weekly community newsletter. (EPA News)

Elmore Recreation Reserve Committee of Management

The Elmore Recreation Reserve Committee of Management oversees the football grounds, netball courts, bowling green, golf course, trotting track, Caravan Park and tennis courts. These facilities are maintained to ensure residents and visitors of all ages have access to a diverse range of sporting opportunities and accommodation.
